Second phase of school teaching practice (25-1-21 to 29-1-21)

Due to the covid-19 pandamic situation the Kerala University has decided to conduct phase 2 of school internship through online platform. For that our college has scheduled 15 School based teaching practice for all teacher students . For that I have assigned to Govt. Girls HSS Mavelikara for taking my teaching practice. I had visited the school and grant the permission from the principal and concerned teacher of business studies. The teacher in charge Prajith sir allotted me the business studies subject and instructed me to take class from the 5th chapter 'Organising'. I have took face to face only class in Google mail platform. The Principal J. Pankajakshi teacher and teacher in charge Prajith sir is very cooperative and properly guided me. The plus two class consists of 56 students.

In this week I have took four classes. On the first class Prajith Mohanan sir  introduce me in front of students.

Day 1

25/1/21 Monday

Lesson plan - 1

Time : 7:30 - 8:15 PM

 I am so excited and anxious in my first class. I make casual talks with the students about their learning, school activities, class management etc helps to gain good rapport between the students.

In my classes I have checked the prerequisite knowledge about the topic functions of Management and continue with the topic. In my first class I taught them the meaning, definition and steps in organising. I have used a PowerPoint presentation for explaining the content. I link the situational task and examples for explaining the topics. At the end of every class I asked MCQs to check the understanding level of students.

In my classes I have checked the prerequisite knowledge about the topic Meaning and steps in organising and continue with the topic. In my class I taught them the importance of organising. I have used a PowerPoint presentation for explaining the content. I link the situational task and examples for explaining the topics. At the end of every class I asked MCQs to check the understanding level of students.

In my class I taught them the meaning, advantages and  disadvantages of functional structure. I have used a PowerPoint presentation for explaining the content. I link the situational task and examples for explaining the topics. At the end of I asked MCQs to check the understanding level of students.

In my classes I have checked the prerequisite knowledge about the topic functional structure it's advantags and disadvantages and continue with the topic. In my class I taught them the meaning it's advantages and disadvantages of divisional structure. I have used a PowerPoint presentation for explaining the content. I link the situational task and examples for explaining the topics. At the end of class I asked MCQs to check the understanding level of students.

Day 5

Health education 

Topic : Balanced diet

Time : 7:00 - 7:45 PM

For health education I took the topic the importance of Balanced diet. Prof. Bobby Oommen Kurien also joined the class. I introduce the class  by showing a video clip from the film velaikaran and pattabiraman which shows the bad side of food we intake. By showing the bad side of food we intake l introduce the topic importance of Balanced diet. I explain all the points clearly. 

In this week I took 5 classes
